Johannes lives for the outdoors, and so does his dog. Based in Germany, he spends his days on mountain trails, forest paths and anywhere the map runs out, with his four-legged partner leading the way. For Johannes, feeding is part of the adventure: real meat, real ingredients, nothing that gets in the way of instinct. He chose Carnilove because it feeds the dog he actually has, a hunter, a scout and a tireless companion, not the one on the packaging.

Johannes didn’t plan on becoming an outdoors person. Bruno did that for him. A dog that pulled toward every forest edge and refused to turn back at the summit eventually turns a weekend walker into someone who checks the weather at 5 am and knows which ridges catch the first light. The two of them now cover more ground in a month than most people do in a year, and the map of Germany is slowly filling up with places they’ve been.
Somewhere along the way, food became part of the conversation. Long days in the mountains showed Johannes what fuel actually looks like: a dog that recovers overnight, that keeps its weight through winter, that doesn’t slow down on the second climb. He started reading labels the way he reads trail maps, and most of them didn’t hold up. Fresh meat first, nothing he couldn’t pronounce, nothing that didn’t belong in a carnivore’s bowl. That’s what he was looking for, and that’s what he found.
Ask Johannes why he’s a Carnilove ambassador and the answer is short. He’s not selling anything Bruno wouldn’t eat. The trails are the proof, the energy is the proof, the muddy, grinning dog at the end of every day is the proof. Everything else is just packaging.
