Emmie grew up in Nitra, Slovakia, dreaming of the northern lights, mountains and life on the road. When the pandemic closed the nail salon she ran with her mum, she took the leap. She packed up, headed north and found work as a dog-sled guide near Tromsø, surrounded by more than a hundred huskies and the Arctic wilderness.

What started as a job became a way of life. Today Emmie lives in Reisadalen in northern Norway with her own sled-dog team, Team Dudy, and a few cats who rule the house while the dogs rule the trail. Her days follow the rhythm of the north: feeding, training, long runs through snow-covered valleys, and nights under the aurora. She shares it all with a growing community on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

A sled dog is an athlete, and Emmie feeds her team like one. Long runs in deep cold call for food built on real meat, rich in protein and easy to digest, with nothing that slows them down. That’s why Team Dudy runs on Carnilove, and the cats eat it too.
